Neil’s rundown of phase2 of the e-strategy was interesting and worthwhile. My concern is meaningfully engaging teachers in CPD and how that might be done. He gave no answers here apart from the fact that the top down approach of NOF (now 10 years ago) was not the way to do it. I’ll be interested in how we can empower teachers to take control of their professional development through his notion of demand side empowerment.
