During this session we will discuss the the teaching of ICT and its position in schools as a result of changes to government targets, testing and the revisions to the curriculum. The session will focus on the 14-19 reforms and their implications for ICT in schools, including key stage 3, as well as other ICT-related activity across the curriculum. The main focus will be on teaching and learning and the revised framework for teaching ICT being launched by the Strategy in spring 2008, which extends the objectives through key stage 4 incorporating the revisions to the curriculum and functional ICT.
